Stable Unibody Construction/Mozzie Hoverboard inbuild With Bluetooth Speaker & Led Lights

The first thing you will notice is that the Mozzie Hoverboard With Speakers for Sale is actually a board. It has a single unibody construction that does not pivot in the middle. This innovation allows a number of improvements.


Conventional hoverboards are two separately tilting platforms that balance each foot individually. This simplifies the control system software, but it has drawbacks. Conventional

hoverboards inevitably get speed-wobbles at a certain speed. This limits how fast they can be ridden. This is because the balance and steering are dynamically coupled together, so there will always be a speed at which a resonance starts to occur between the two. This is an effect a little like speed-wobbles in an old car at freeway speed or in a skateboard with overly soft bushings.

On the Mozzie Hoverboard With Bluetooth Speaker, the entire body tilts forward and back as a unit. Both wheels turning together balance the tilt, while the wheels turning at slightly different speeds provide steering.

Mozzie’s patented TruRide™ system determines the desired steering by sensing the foot load distribution and controls the wheel torque to independently control balance and steering.

This means that Mozzie’s increased stability does not come at the cost of a reduction in agility. As they are not coupled inseparably together by the physical nature of using two tilting platforms, balance and steering can be adjusted independently through the App to suit the rider’s preference.

Intelligent Stability Software

The Mozzie unibody board is intrinsically more stable during the stepping on and off because the action of balancing one foot does not cause the board to twist.

In addition to this, TruRide™ system software intelligently senses the rider’s intent and solidly holds the position of the board for safe stepping on and off, without any of the undesired movement or twisting of conventional hoverboards.

The stability software is able to hold the board straight, even under side pressure as the rider steps on and off, by using active control of the wheel torque to counteract the unbalanced force from the rider.

Lithium Phosphate Batteries

The Mozzie is also the only hoverboard on the market utilizing lithium phosphate batteries, which are proven to be safer and more stable than the lithium ion batteries used in all other hoverboards.


The Lithium Iron Phosphate battery chemistry (LiFePO4) has significantly better chemical and thermal stability over LiCoO2 chemistry in the Lithium Ion batteries used in all other hoverboards and most consumer electronics (such as the Samsung Note 7).

Importantly, the Lithium Phosphate chemistry has a much lower flammability and does not suffer from the thermal runaway effect of Lithium Ion chemistries. This means that, no matter how overloaded it gets, it cannot burst into a self-sustaining fire that consumes everything around it.


Mozzie batteries last longer than other hoverboard batteries. The greater robustness of the Lithium Phosphate battery chemistry means that the number of charge/discharge cycles which the battery can handle without losing capacity is much greater. The batteries used in the Mozzie Hoverboard are rated for 2000 charge / discharge cycles before losing a noticeable amount of capacity (20%). Even brand name Lithium Ion batteries typically are rated for a loss of 30% capacity after just 300 or 500 cycles.


The main reason Lithium Phosphate batteries are not used in most consumer electronic products, despite their greater life expectancy and safety, is that they take up a bit more physical space than conventional Lithium Ion batteries (about 25% more). However, the unique unibody construction of the Mozzie means that safety and performance did not need to be compromised, because there is plenty of space through the middle of the board.


As additional electrical safety, the Mozzie Hoverboard, and specifically its battery pack, have undergone a detailed Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, showing that there are at least two mechanisms or circuits protecting against each way in which a failure might be dangerous. The Mozzie Hoverboards battery safety FMEA has been examined by multiple safety agencies, including UL.


Firmware Updates


Firmware updates from within the App allow improvements in the Mozzie’s operation over time. We continuously work with riders of all levels, from pros to beginners to enhance the ride and the features. You will always get the most up to date experience.

Music & Lights

The audio player within the Mozzie Bluetooth Hoverboard pairs like any normal Bluetooth speaker device. The weight of the solid bottom housing, and the cavity the speakers form, give the Mozzie a much bigger, louder and higher fidelity sound than other Hoverboards.


The Mozzie’s LED lights are individually controlled and are capable of millions of colors. The App can customize the color and pattern of the lights, including to follow the steering, or dance to the music.


It might seem like a minor thing, but the convenience of being able to pick the Hoverboard up by an ergonomic handle makes a big difference. The handles are ergonomically integrated into the design of the board, so they take nothing away from the ride.


Obtaining UL certification and being UL listed means that UL has tested representative samples of the product and determined that it meets UL’s requirements. These requirements are based on UL’s published and nationally recognized Standard for Safety. UL2272 sets specific standards for personal e-mobility devices such as hoverboards.
